Isaiah 43:1-2
“Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; you are Mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you.”
Isaiah 41:10
"Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."
When God calls us by our name and asks us to do His will, it can take us off guard. We can get caught up in all the excuses, fears, and anxiety of the flesh or we can trust in Him. He loves us—each one of us so much so that He gave His only beloved son to die for our salvation. The least we can do is return that love with our obedience when He calls on us.
John 3:16
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
