Who Do You Serve?

John 12:42-46

Yet at the same time many even among the leaders believed in him. But because of the Pharisees they would not openly acknowledge their faith for fear they would be put out of the synagogue; for they loved human praise more than praise from God.


Then Jesus cried out, “Whoever believes in me does not believe in me only, but in the one who sent me. The one who looks at me is seeing the one who sent me. I have come into the world as a light, so that no one who believes in me should stay in darkness.


Acts 5:29

Peter and the other apostles replied: “We must obey God rather than human beings!


Even the best intentions from a fellow believer may become a stumbling block on one's faith journey to Jesus. It is best to be patient with the people around you who may be struggling. Do not fill their heads with your human understanding. Do not condemn them and do not give up on them. Be kind and generous with them. Give them what they need to open their mind and their heart so that they may hear the voice of God. To be still and know he is God.


Jeremiah 33:3

‘Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.’


Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
